Firstly i appolagize if there is allready answer on the forums but i have searched and didnt find anything usefull. Heres my problem and there is no answer in the whole damn google and i've been looking it for months, and asking around and no solution... I have wireless internet connection usb modem icon 225. My torrent client is Vuze and here's whats worng: i was able to download a few torrents but now i cant download them any more. When i download directley from the web sites the download speed is great., but when it comes to torrents, there is no way and i cant figure out why has it stopped working. Installing fresh widows doesnt help, port forward cant be done, firewall turend off, encryption is on, proxy... and i bet i forgot at least 5 more things taht i have tryed and still whitout success. Does anyone have any clue what is wrong with my settings or whatever that my client doesnt want to download torrents any more. and tracker isent down, and torrent has many peers and seeds and all the stuff it needs. I can leave my laptop turend on for a whole week and Vuze wont sstart downloading, and uTorrent and bitspirit and... you name it - i've tryed 5 6 7 different clients... So if you fine ppl maybe have a solution i will be very very happy to try it.
Kind regards, Miha |

Have you checked to see if the network connection for Vuze is clear? Result?
Help>NAT Firewall test
Who is your ISP? From what I saw in my quick search, that modem is for a 3G network (which may block bittorrent). |

Network connection in vuze is clear, all my firewalls are turned off and i am not connected to 3G but to HSDPA. ISP is si.mobil but i dont think they have anything to do with this... But somthing is bothering me... when trying to test any port it says: Testing port 62556 ...
Unable to test: Invalid port given, or test service failed.
Another application may already be using this port..
(Error: connect timed out).
Any cure for thins ? Tryied opening port i winfirewall but it doesnt work... And all the tutorials with port forwarding are included with ruters, which i dont have it... i just have USB modem without IP address on in and cant do anything to chage settings on it like on ruter... Interesting thing... When i try to download torrent it doesnt want to... when im testing speed it starts to download something with speed of 180kb/s, second test starts with 0 comes to 6 and then tp 11kb/s and than fails. Only first time it has finished successfully, and than no more. I realy cant figure it out. |
