There has been a recent spat of new users sending private messages about a virus being found to other users here.
Any such messages are not from this site and should be ignored. |

I have 3 new messages, but hen I want to read them the site tells me that this board doesnot allow private messaging.
Same message when I want to create a PM.
What is wrong? |

Those 3 messages are SPAM.
People have been spamming the Board's member through private messages as they know their spam posts will be immediately deleted here.
I had disabled private messages for a week and hoped they had gone away. However, when I re-enabled private messages, these 3 messages came immediately.
It is almost certain that private messages will be permanently disabled now. |
